Ok so we went to aruba back at the end of May. It was awesome! We went to time share talks and got afree jeep for the day and a free snorkeling trip. We also wentto a Brazilian steakhouse where men feed you different meats off swords. Highlyrecommended.
I started working at a nursing home in college station whe
n we got back home and Eric worked part-time for a few companies.
We were out of town about every weekend until we left. We got to go to my roommates wedding in DC. I love her, it was such a fun wedding. Then we went to Colorado to see my grandparents, aunts/uncles/cousins and my second cousin..
Then Eric's dad wanted to take us for a CRUISE for his retirement. This will probably be the only chance we have for the 6 of us(Mom, Dad, Brian, Tiffany, Eric and I) to vacation without kids. It was so much fun. We had a pre-celebration in Florida with Cristalino Champagne:)Then we had his cruise room decorated as a surprise when they arrived.
We did lots of fun activities on the days at sea. I was one of 5 finalist for a mixology contest, and ended up winning 1st with my "chocolate monkey". Eric and his dad were finalist in the slot tournament. And played in a dodgeball tournament.
The first stop was in GRAND CAYMAN. We went kayaking and snorkling.
The second stop was COZUMEL. It was Eric's birthday! What an awesome way to spend your b-day! We went zip-lining through the jungle. Then we met up with the fam and hung out at the beach. They had trampolines and an iceburg to climb. We had a lot of fun. His mom snuck into our room and decorated it while we were gone:) Then we went to the steakhouse for dinner. Yum.
The third stop was ISLA ROATAN. We went to play with parrots and monkeys.
The fourth and final stop was Belize. We went snorkeling there, because it has the second largest reef besides Australia. It was beautiful. Then we had a beach stop, and it happened to be on the same island Brian, Tiff and Mom and Dad were on. We were very surprised when we found them! They had a little area with starfish you can hold.
We got all dressed up for formal night. My parents surprised Eric with 2 new suits for his b-day. So he was looking sharp!
We went to the Florida Aquarium to pass time before our flights. Loved it.
We got back Sunday night and decided to pack up and leave. We spent the night in Houston, picked up Jer-z, said bye to my parents and headed out Monday morning. We didn't have jobs or a place to live:) As our drive started we both got interviews and signed for jobs on Wed. THANK YOU LORD for being faithful! We stayed in Louisiana to see Eric's Aunt, Uncle and Cousin. Then we headed on a 10 hour drive to Knoxville, TN. We got to see my best friend Katie and her family. Her daughter is so super cute! We stayed an extra day to see them and get paperwork and drug tests done for the travel company. Jer-z is doing great on the trip.
We made it to VIRGINIA on Thursday! It was such a beautiful drive. I think we are going to love this state:)
