Camping @ Trap Pond in DE

Brian and Tiff planned a camping trip and invited us to go. It was so nice and relaxing, the weather was perfect. Eric and I ran 10 miles or so around the park. The boys made an awesome foil dinner. The dogs loved running around and got along really good. The black one-Eli is Jer-z's cousin:) and the other white one, Miley, is Eli's sister...which looks like Jer-z when he was a puppy! Super Cute. Is it Jer-z or Miley?

Paid off CAR!!!

Thank you Lord!!! We got the car paid off. Thats Erics happy jump on our way to celebrate at Friendly's. Now on to the school loans...

DC to see ROOMMATE!

We went to DC to see my college roommate Laura, who just got married in July. We had so much fun. Eric took his first flying lesson. He bought a Groupon for a discovery flight, and pretty much got to do everything. I went along for the ride and the scenery.

Then we went to the Museum of Crime and Punishment. It had lots of cool stuff to look at and interact with.

Andy was in class all day but when he got home we had a BBQ with their upstairs neighbors.

At night we went to some monuments. They were so beautiful at night all lit up. It was cool when you could see 2-3 in the distance.

Hiking!

We have been hiking on the James River a couple days after work with a "local" from church. We can take the dogs and they run around off the lease. Jer-z loves it. One of the places we went to is called Texas Beach:) Beautiful sunsets and the view of the Richmond skyline.

The last few weekends

On October 2 we went to a co-workers wedding. It was really nice of her to invite us. We had a good time getting dressed up and hanging out with people from my work. We relaxed the next day...Eric watched football while I scrap booked. It was nice to sit around with nothing to do.

The next weekend was the "Richmond Folk Festival." The paper said it brings in 200,000 people every year. It was so much fun. They had crafts and lots of bands playing. We listened to the Haitian music while drinking a glass of wine (and Eric=beer).

Brian, Tiff and Eli came in on Friday night. The cousins got to meet finally:)

On Saturday we went to the "Brews and Blues" festival. had local musicians and local home breweries. It was perfect weather so we just hung out and talked under a tree. Very relaxing and a good time. We left there and went to Williamsburg to go to The Cheese Shop. Tiff got cheese and I went next door and got a caramel apple. Ive been craving one for years so I went all out. It was sooo good.

We went home a played Settlers of Catan...I Won:) hehe

We went to church on Sunday. Awesome sermon about taking care of your physical body...working out and eating healthy but not making it an idol. Then we went to the James River. Then we had a shrimp boil and brought it to the clubhouse's theater room to watch the GIANTS game...they won...whoop.
