Day 59-65

Jer-z has been so good to me since I came home. He knows not to get too close to me or give me too many kisses. He protects me and lets mommy know when I'm crying. We are going to grow up and be best friends.

These are little scrubs to wear to be like mommy and daddy. They even have my name on them. Daddy took me to his staff meeting today. They almost put me to work, but I had to tell them that I'm not really a Doctor...yet. Then we went and saw mommy up at work and daddy showed me off to all our friends.

Daddy is such a good babysitter. We have so much fun together when mommy's at work!

They call me Mr Muscles.

I got to go hang out with the ladies today at Sherry's bridal shower. All the friends mommy would ask to babysit me were at the shower. I tried not to steal the show from Sherry, but a lot of the attention was on me today...I'm not gunna lie. But I don't think she minded:) We all had a good time.

*Speechless*

My first time in the jogging stroller. I know you can't see me very well, but I'm just sleeping. My parents want to run the College Station half marathon in December, so they started training today. Good thing I like being outside and going with them.

365 Time Out

We are going to take a Time Out from Project 365. These pictures didn't make the cut...but are definitely cute enough to get published! Its hard to pick just one picture a day of this photogenic cutie pie. Enjoy...

These are from our trip to Galveston. I got to feed the seagulls. I think I was scared I had my fists ready to punch one if he tried to come near me and daddy.

My first taste of real food...Texas White Gravy...Mmmm. Thanks Dad...Good Stuff!

Oooh oohh ohhh ahhh ahhh ahhhhh (said as I beat my chest)

This is my buddy Levi. We are 7 weeks apart, and going to be best friends.

These are my other best friends Ethan and Evan. We look like we could be brothers. When my mom would babysit Ethan, people would think she had a kid:)

Gma Merkey. We are all dressed up for a Wedding. I got lots of compliments on my outfit:)

This is my uncle Stephen. He was supposed the pic of the day...but got shafted by the baby squirrel! He was upset...So I had to explain that Lord willing we would have many more chances to take pics together...but I prolly wont ever get to hold a baby squirrel again:)

Days 51-58

I just love watching the fan go round and round and round.

We went to our neighbors son's funeral today. Their advice to my parents is "to hug and kiss me everyday!" I was kissed a lot before...but now I'm getting extras! They tell me they love me all the time, and that Jesus loves me too:)

My first day at the beach was pretty fun. The sun wasn't out very much so it was a little chilly.

Dad was flexed off work and asked mom where she wanted to go. She said Galveston. It started raining when we got here, but God stopped it so I could go swimming. We stayed at the San Luis Resort, which was really nice. I liked the loud sounds of the rushing waterfall.

I'm growing so fast!

This is my new friend Levi. We are 7 weeks apart!

My friend Ethan stopped by and gave me some cool clothes to wear. He though my feet were really small and doesn't believe his used to be that small.

Today we found out our 14 year old neighbor died this morning. I was sad. I wanted to play four square with him and grandma and race cars up the street.

Days 41-50

No words can describe how this makes my parents feel

Mommy went up to St. Joseph to go to an inservice (and show me off) and talked to the Lead Therapist up there. She said they needed help in the afternoons if she wanted to come back to work. So she went in today, while daddys stayed home with me. I had a blast with daddy, and mommy said work went pretty well.

9/11/01-9/11/11 My mom cant believe its been 10 years ago already. She was in high school when she found out the news. Daddy was in his second year of college and had friends affected by the tragic event. They will tell me more about it when I get older. But we will never forget. I am proud to be an American!

This was mommy's neighbor growing up in Houston, Kelly. Then when my mom was a personal Trainer she worked with Justin. Gma Merkey kinda made a mistake one day, which Kelly had to call Justin to fix...and I guess it wasnt a mistake after all. They hit it off that night on the phone, and are now married:) Congrats!

Look at my head control:) This makes mommy and Gma Merkey so proud. I love Tummy Time...esp with Gma beside me!

Meeting Daddy's first Texas friend, Mexican Mike. They were roommates for a few years.

Had dinner with the Jones and Lacox's. The Jones are moving to Mississippi in a couple of days. We are gunna miss them a lot, but so glad they are in our lives. And Scott's parents still live here-so they have to come visit:)

I took my first bottle like a champ, and daddy enjoyed feeding me. Now mommy can go on longer dates with daddy, or go back to work for half a day...I'll miss her too much if she goes all day!!! :)

Its not everyday you get to take a picture with a baby squirrel. It was super cute. Grandpa gave him a new home to live in.

First Aggie Game of the season-and they actually won. My great cousin gave me this outfit.

Days 31-40

Silly faces:) I'm still learning how to control my eye muscles, and it makes my parents laugh.

Pool Time.

This is how daddy dressed me today. Mommy has no words for this! lol

Giving Daddy some love so he will get better faster. He loves cuddling with me.

I didnt want to tell Papa G and Grandma Toth bye today:( I tried to sneak inside their suitcase, but they found me. They were such a big help, and held me all the time. I will miss them. Mom and I cried for a while after they left. But I get to skpe them and send them lots of pictures AND see them again in November.

After we dropped daddy off for surgery this morning we went and bought mommy a new gun. Its a lot smaller (9mm) so ill get to shoot it sometime. We made a stop at the Antique Rose Emporium and looked at all the beautiful flowers. Then went to get daddy. He was very sleepy.

Both sets of grandparents at the same time...I'm so spoiled...and I love it!!! Grandpa Merkey was on a mission trip so he didnt get to see the Toths. So they went out to dinner while I went to our friend Scott & Shannon's going away party. Then we got to come home and hang out with everyone until the Merkeys had to go home for work the next day. I love my Grandparents!

Papa G bought a new gun so he will have something to use at the deer lease. Its pretty big so I'll have to grow into it before I get to use it.

39 years is a long time! Thank you! We went to the Peddlers Show in Bryan and got lots of neat stuff. Then I took them out to eat at Maddens...super great food and service.

We went to Fraziers in Hempstead...Finally. Mom's driven by it about 100 times going back home, but she hasnt ever stopped to see what they have. Well Papa G loves that kind of stuff, but when he goes they are always closed. So we drove down there...making a stop at Marthas Bloomers for lunch, and taking pictures of "Texas Gates" for Grandma Toth's new project. The place is huge and a little overwhelming with all the stuff they have!

Days 23-30

Then we took a tour at the Blue Bell Factory!!! Mom was supposed to go on a tour when she was in 2nd grade. That morning a huge gas line busted and set off a big explosion in Brenham that was felt all the way in Houston. Needless to say she didnt get to go on a field trip that day. So 20 years later she finally got to go see how ice cream is made, and get her free scoop!!! It was pretty awesome, and the scoop (or 2) at the end of the tour was the best! I think mommy enjoyed it too.

"The Happiest Baby on the Block" is a DVD that some Dr came up with to quiet a crying baby. He says its a reflex to the baby and would work everytime if done right. Its based on the five S's which are 1. Swaddle, 2. Side or Stomach, 3. "Shhhhh", 4. Swing, 5. Suck. So when I started to cry my parents decided to try it as an experiment...and I quieted right down! Hmm interesting. Its kinda fun, but I dont cry very much, so they dont get to do it often-which is better. I think my parents dont like it when I cry:(

I love swimming!

Singing songs to Papa G. So cute!!!

So peaceful...Mommy's little Angel

I'm starting to smile more and more these days. Everyone seems to enjoy it-so I keep doing it:)

Happy Birthday Daddy!!! We decided to go to Kemah to celebrate since he took off work. We went into every store they had because it was hot!!! but we cooled off and got to play in the water and had a real good time.

Can you hear me now??? The machine was broken at St Joseph when I was born, so we had to go somewhere else and have it done. They were super busy...I wasnt a happy baby by the time they got to me!
