Days 151-160

Welcome 2012! It's going to be a good year!

I love my new toy from Ethan and Evan. I can now play with it sitting up all by myself...kinda (until I get distracted and topple over)

We got a new heater for our hot tub for Christmas. It works really well and feels awesome!

Going swimming at gpa and gma's house. They warmed it up and had lots of kids over. Gma and dad both dunked me under the water. I loved it!

Christmas Eve-Giving Santa his cookies and milk.

Days 141-150

I hear he comes down the chimney, but I don't see him yet???

Met Santa at the mall today. HoHoHo

All the leaves are finally falling off the trees. The colors are pretty good for Texas.

Found my toes today!

We took a tour of a castle today. It was really pretty inside.

Brrr this white stuff is cold!

Colorado is so beautiful. I wish my great grandparents lived closer so I could see them more often, but Im glad they live in such a gorgeous state.

Days 131-140

My first plane ride to Colorado to meet my great grandparents. I did really well, my ears didn't bother me and I wasn't too loud for the other passengers. The pilot was really nice and let me take a picture with him. I'm going to be a well traveled baby!

We beat the Cowboys!!! Go all the way to the Superbowl!

Christmas in the Pen-Wolf Pen Creek had lots of lights, music, and food! There was a live nativity, we saw our neighbors and had some really good kettle corn! Fun little date night mom planned for us since dad loves Christmas time!

My mom had her gift exchange with her girls tonight. Jessica gave me this awesome hat and mittens. Caitrin and mom spend all day making these gifts to give to their friends...Necklaces, hand scrub and chalkboards.

I started to get a cold and run a fever today. It kept going up during the night. Mom called the doctor in the morning and they said she should bring me in. The doctor said it was just a little fever and not to worry. So we went home and they just loved on me, and I was better the next day. Thank you Jesus.

The B-I-B-L-E yes that's the book for me. I stand alone on the word of God the B-I-B-L-E!

Days 121-130

This is the tree I picked out...but mom said it was too big (and too much $$$). Dad said one day we can get one this big. The one we got is pretty awesome tho and I can't wait to decorate it!

I love how close I can get to these turkeys. We are still at River Road Ranch having feeding time before we go back home. I can't wait to come back here when I'm older!!!

The view from up here is amazing! So proud of Papa G and GiGi climbing up here with me, and thanks dad for carrying me! One day, before you know it, ill be running and climbing up these rocks and you'll have to keep up with me!

Instead of going to San Antonio or Austin like we normally do during Thanksgiving we decided to go to Fredericksburg. GiGi found this place, but wouldn't tell us where we were going-she just said we weren't staying in a hotel!!! We didn't know what to think when we pulled up to THIS and she told us that we were staying in there. They stayed in an old SILO across from us. Little did we know it would soon become one of the BEST places we have ever stayed! Thats BOOTS in the picture with us. He protected me from all the animals Uncle Smitty has running free on his property--->Donkeys, Turkeys, Goats, Long horn sheep, Lamas, Longhorn Cattle and Chickens to name a few.

Today mommy planned a little surprise for PapaG and GiGi. We drove down to Montgomery, TX-stopping at all the gates we saw for a picture to put in GiGi's "Gates of Texas" Book. We stopped at an antique shop or 2 for PapaG. Then went to a wine tasting at Cork This! It was a fun little adventure.

Mommy and daddy went to work today, so I got to hang out with my grandparents. All the times they have come to Texas...and they have never been to the George Bush Library(probably the biggest tourist attraction in town). So we went there today. What do you think?...Would you vote for me to run as president in 2052 (I'll be 40 years old then & Mom will be on day 14,716) Lol J/K!

I've been waiting so long for this day! Look at all this food I don't even get to eat! Glad to have both families down at my house to celebrate. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

Days 111-120

So we have been have MAJOR computer problems-so I apologize for not doing the blog. We recently got a new MacBookPro so we are back in business! Whoop...finally!

G.pa Merkey goes up to the deer lease with my dad a lot...and EVERY time he goes he asks if I'm going to come up. His dream was to get me up there with him before I turned ONE! So I decided to go up there on day 120. It just happened to be when Papa G was also in town. Lucky me getting to spend time with my dad and both grandpas! Hope to have many more trips up to the deer lease:)

Papa G and GiGi are back in Texas for Thanksgiving. So happy to see them again.

We went to Dallas to be with Uncle Stephen after his heart surgery. He looks like he's doing well. He's not supposed to pick up anything over 10 pounds-but he couldn't resist me!

Walking around Downtown Dallas after the Craft Show! Love those Texas Longhorns (not the school-just the animal:) Mom says Gig'em.

Mom loves going to her girls nights when she can. Dad was gonna watch me since I'm in no way "girly" but mommy's friends said I HAD to go! We all had a fun time..at Cheddars of course!

Levi and I are getting ready for Thanksgiving! Shake your tail-feathers:)

We all went down to Houston tonight for a Mary Kay party with G.ma Merkeys friends. Dad made some awesome gumbo. We hung out in the back and watched hunting movies.

Dad started singing Christmas Carols to me and I certainly did not like it. First of all its only the middle of November and they shouldn't be sung until at least December. Secondly he was singing them in a very low tone and I think that scared me. I guess I take after my mom in the Christmas carols area...

I love my aunt Jessie-and can't wait to get a cake pop!
